Practice Schedule

This year the Fast Forward Track club is practicing 4 days a week at St. Patricks High School. The address for the practice location is 1550 Benicia Road. Practices are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fricay from 5pm to 6:30pm

Our practices begin with warm up laps and some hill running. After that, there are various streches and exercises including plyometrics and other strength and agility building activities. We usually end our practice with work on sprints and timed middle distance running.

2006 Season Results 2006 was a huge year for our track club. We had 8 athletes qualify for and compete in the USATF Junior Olympics in Baltimore, Maryland. Among the athletes competing, Anthony Riggins won the national title in the 100m dash with a time of 11.03 seconds! Our Youth boys 4x100m relay team also took 6th place overall. Congratulations on a great accomplishment!!!

Nutrition Ideas for Athletes Knowing what to eat and when is a very complicated concept for most adults. It's ten times worse for young kids and teenagers. In the interest of good health, we encourage parents to be aware of what your athletes are eating. Start each morning with a good, wholesome breakfast. Remind your athlete to stay hydrated with water (not soft drinks and other sugar drinks) throughout the day and eat lots of fruits and veggies!
